Challenge
With Lexis Advance launching in the UK, the various teams worked relentlessly towards an MVP soft launch in an agile/scrum framework. As a UI designer, my role was shared across teams. I was responsible for the UI design of many different key sections of Lexis Advance UK and tasked with the design output of different work streams at different stages of development simultaneously. I was also required to discuss and present solutions to stakeholders and liaise with developers, both co-located or overseas.
Solution
Successfully managed the implementation of a unique consistent and responsive grid system, the delivery of visual tools like process flows as well as checklists, complex calculators and data tables, the revision of the typography standards for both content and the app framework, in addition to my work on legal drafting tools, search, filters, and the main document view screens. My role also involved regular development and validation of new standards and patterns for the visual design system and also ensuring WCAG compliance within Lexis Advance UK as well as other legacy products.
